Philippine Lotto 6/42 is the flagship lotto game in the Philippines. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office or PCSO started conducting the Lotto 6/42 way back in 1995. At first, the draws were divided into the two regions of Luzon and Visayas-Mindanao. However, ten years after on 2005, the two draws were combined to form a national draw.
The Philippine Lotto 6/42 draw is conducted by drawing six numbers from a lot of numbers from 1 to 42. Bettors who get at least three numbers correctly will win a prize.

Each draw is aired over at National Broadcasting Network NBN Channel 4 together with other draws in a 15 to 20 minute program with no commercial breaks.
